Resume
I hope this isn't too tacky of a thing to do, but I found out this week that the magazine I've been helping to launch is no longer going to launch. That means someone's looking for a job again. ("Someone" would be me, of course.) (And by "again," I mean that my previous publishing company closed its Milwaukee doors and left the whole lot of us jobless last year.) The funny thing is I'm actually a really good editor. (And I'm not one to toot my own horn, so it takes a lot for me to say that.)
SO! Thanks to the lovely wide world of the Internet, I'm going to post my resumé here, just in case anyone knows about any kind of job openings anywhere. Please feel free to e-mail me or put something in the comments. Thanks!

Oh blast! Shoot. I thought for sure it would launch. Good luck to you finding something new -- your resume is really very impressive! Good thoughts, coming your way.
Thank you! :)
On the upside, at least we don't have to feel bad that we never got a chance to offer you a job. And at least we didn't give you one then take it away!
Wow, Tea, that's an impressive list! I'm not in a position to employ you, but am sure there's someone out there who will soon. Keep putting yourself out there. By the way, I came via A Dress A Day, and, No, I don't think it was misplaced (though I have a suspicion that I may not be the best judge of discreet behaviour!).
Can I just check where you're based? I'm in the UK, so I'm guessing I won't even know any likely employers, though I am acquainted with a few craft magazine/book people over here.
By the way, I'd assumed "Tea" was just a pseudonym. Great name!
Wishing you all kinds of success.
Oh, thank you so much, Eirlys. I'm in Milwaukee, which is in Wisconsin, pretty much in the middle of the U.S.
I've done some "Americanizing" of British books from a few educational publishers over there, and I lived in Oxford for my semester abroad, but that's about my extent, so I don't think I'd be much of a candidate across the pond, as much as I'd enjoy a move! :)
Meredith is always hiring and Des Moines is a lovely place to live.
I just looked at their website and saw several editorial positions open.

Too bad about your magazine. You could always come back "home." Not sure what you'd do, but you know, it would be fun. :)
Ah, now, that Americanizing of British books is an interesting option. I'll be sure to bear you in mind if anything crops up. Meanwhile, I hope the offers flood in. Keep posting!
Ms. Tea, you've got an awesome resume. Alas, I don't know of any work that's up your alley, plus I'm in New York, but I am sending you good vibes and loads of best wishes. Hope something extravagantly terrific comes your way soon.
